Sermon theme: Faith—God’s Legal Tender

 

Introduction

One thing I do quite often is forget my wallet when leaving home. Far too many Christians do this when trying to access the storehouse of Heaven. God has given the church a currency just for the storehouse of Heaven. The currency is called faith.

So we need faith for the new birth experience; but also for the new life experiences,

The woman’s prayer: Matthew 15: 22–23
The woman’s perseverance: Matthew 15:24–27
The woman’s Peace: Matthew 15:28

 

The question now is how do we get faith?

The answer is that it comes by hearing the word of God.
